I develop the curriculum and give visual art instruction for the Middle and High School programs at the International School of the Sacred Heart, Tokyo. I am also responsible for the AP 2D Studio Art program. Discussing examples of master artists, exposing students to new techniques, and encouraging creative exploration and expression are the backbones of my programs.

Shadows falling across light; colors and tones merging into one another: Every moment is a rich visual experience. My paintings and drawings convey the drama of light and shadow as they describe objects or people. More than simple representations, each image is a story in which colors and tones reveal the physicality--the existence--of that moment: Where things and people were placed, their relationships with each other and their surroundings. Through these relationships the subject becomes secondary to the importance of the the light describing it.

As a CG artist I collaborate with designers to create 3D perspective and product images. My goal is to create concrete images that describe the vitality of designers' ideas and imagination.
