With a team of 6, I was responsible for a $200 million+ capital expenditure budget and the evaluation and approval of large capital expenditure projects for all joint venture properties. In addition, I successfully developed and managed a process to perform facility condition assessments on more than 1,000 senior housing communities. I also led a team of sustainability professionals to improve the company's sustainability strategy and increase its rating agency scores. Finally, my team established a process to review and improve performance of underperforming properties.

I was promoted to establish and maintain strong relationships with Welltower's newly acquired joint venture partners. In addition to establishing these relationships, I managed a team of investment associates and analysts responsible for underwriting and closing new investments. My team closed over $650 million in assets between 2015 and 2017. Asset Management duties included asset performance reviews, budgeting, forecasting, and evaluating capital expenditures for a senior housing portfolio that included over $2 billion of assets. Also during my tenure, I helped to establish the Welltower Collaborative, a joint venture partner roundtable focused on discussing best practices and cost savings. As a result of the Welltower Collaborative, I helped to establish and administer Welltower’s consolidated property insurance program with over $20 billion in assets insured.

I was recruited to help Welltower divest several portfolios of skilled nursing centers. I also managed a portfolio of SNF assets which included performance monitoring, credit analysis, lease restructuring, divestitures, and on-site assessment.
