Soapely is a startup including myself and four other peers. Due to Soapely still being a young company, when I was brought onto the team I was given the opportunity to do more than shoot video. Weekly calls between the entire team regarding the status of the company, launch date, new goals, and updates on projects allowed me to help with creative direction and give inputs on discussion points that could affect the company.In joining this team, I knew that startups required hard work and determination, and that speed bumps were all but certain. Having hit a fair share of speed bumps, working with Soapely has further taught me the importance of not only adaptability, but how to work smarter.

Traveled throughout the United States with Jon Bellion, Lawrence the Band, and Marc E Bassy as a creative director and videographer during the Glory Sound Prep Tour.Aside from this being the most intensive project that I've had to take on due to the required turnaround time of projects, I was able to see management within the music industry up close and personal. Being on this tour taught me how to deal with pressure stemming from different groups of management, while also pushing out quality projects within a timely matter. Perfectionism and adaptability were demanded throughout the tour, even if that meant staying up until 3 in the morning to finish up a video that management would end up never using.

I worked with the Nike Stanford Retail Brand Team in sketching up and recording a video to showcase their Nike Free RN Flyknit shoes.- Balanced the expectations of the Retail Brand Team with my own creative vision for the project- Required me to be flexible and adapt to challenges that arose from using a large group of individuals for the project, along with this being my first time taking on a paid project to this scale- Shot, colored, and edited into a final product within three days

Everest Public High School partnered with Riekes to allow me in working with a team to create a film by the end of the school year. Riekes gave my team two mentors: Sagesse and Aaron, that helped us in facilitating ourselves and our workflow.- Helped Aaron with side projects that clients of Riekes- Required our team to become disciplined and follow strict deadlines as to balance our end of the year film and the projects given to us by Riekes- Learned the process of breaking down larger projects into smaller, more detailed steps.
