I am a drummer, a teaching-artist, and board-certified, licensed music therapist that specializes in designing collaborative learning experiences. I have a reputation for being an engaging and effective facilitator, and I am a recognized rhythm expert by Johns Hopkins Medical University, Towson University, the Veterans Affairs, and more. I have facilitated over 5,000 group drumming sessions since 2007 and have taught over 33 college courses since 2017, including a popular course I designed called, "Branding Your Authentic Self". I have been collaborating in bands for over 30 years, giving me a depth of experience in the creative process. APPROACHThe guiding principle for my work is the belief that when you provide unique experiences that connect and engage a group of people, you unlock an opportunity to challenge and augment the way they think, where ultimately, people may discover, own and be valued for their strengths.CHIEF RHYTHM OFFICERAs a CRO, I am your guide to unlocking the secrets of seamless collaboration and the creative process through the art of drumming and science of rhythm. Picture your team operating like legendary musical ensembles, where synergy and collective creativity merge effortlessly. In my role, I facilitate a transformative experience that transcends the mundane and propels your team into a realm where every day at work becomes a jam session. Together, we'll explore the "ABCs" of rhythmic collaboration: Alignment, Balance, and Creativity.
