Budgeted, designed, and implemented a new, fully redundant and fault tolerant Exchange 2007 email system to support 15,000 users. The system incorporated new Exchange replication technologies (CCR and SCR), archiving, and content indexing search capabilities for regulatory compliance. The original budget showed a net savings to LPS of $1.5M over the next 5 years. Regarded by the C-Level Executives as a leader in his field, trusted to make decisions and give technical advice that affected large areas of operations. Evaluated and recommended various hardware/software solutions for email, remote access, directory services, virus protection and spam prevention. Worked closely with business continuity team to develop disaster recovery plans for messaging and directory services infrastructure, and regarded as a Subject Matter Expert in the areas of messaging infrastructure management.
