Oversaw fire support planning and served as the subject matter expert to the supported units.• Led artillery platoon, 80 personnel, with the responsibility for their training, appropriate welfare, administrative requirements, tactical employment, and personnel evaluations.• Created and actuated a 6-month training plan for approximately a 185-person unit to ensure operational readiness prior to an amphibious deployment (26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU)), which included all tactical and technical training as well as supervising all administrative and equipment preparation. • Served as the embarkation officer for the 26th MEU, ensuring all transportation and cargo was appropriately aligned and de-conflicted with the many units involved in the deployment.• Accounted for unit equipment and managed maintenance for a multi-million dollar account and ensured a state of readiness at all times.
