Advisory work and follow-on financing support for angel portfolio

GR Capital invests into companies that change how we live and work across health, wealth, housing and mobility. Portfolio includes Deliveroo, Glovo, Lime, Wefox, McMakler, and others.

I led the team’s investments in Arteris (acquired by Qualcomm), Peak (acquired by Hachette Livre), We7 (acquired by Tesco Plc.) and Videoplaza (acquired by Telstra). Other deals I led or managed include Blippar, BitBar, Fon, Grand Cru, OpenSignal, Wrapp and Yplan.

Part of the Young Innovative Companies selection panel and selection committee. Tekes is the largest innovation funding source for Finnish startups and other international growth companies, with an annual budget of ~ EUR 600M.

Responsible for deal negotiation, structuring and execution. Hands on approach to due diligence on investments, including commercial, technical, financial and legal due diligenceResponsible for deal syndication – coordinating syndicates including Business Angels and Venture Capital Funds.Active at board level with our portfolio companies securing follow-on financing, shaping strategic direction with operational involvement in key management hires.

Identified potential investment opportunities. Conducted qualitative analysis and desktop due diligence.

Developed and executed licensing and partnership agreements with the leading players in the media and entertainment industry in Spain. Identified new markets and clients in Television, Print, Mobile Marketing and Events.

Developed Software and Technology business intelligence reports including- Digital Rights Management, Email Marketing, Biometrics, E-Learning, Online Security and Online Collaboration Tools.
