Cato's Center for Educational Freedom was founded on the principle that parents are best suited to make important decisions regarding the care and education of their children. The Center's scholars seek to shift the terms of public debate in favor of the fundamental right of parents and toward a future when state-run schools give way to a dynamic, independent system of schools competing to meet the needs of American children.

Wrote two white papers for the Pioneer Institute. The first paper analyzed the experience that Jewish day schools in Rhode Island had with the state's scholarship tax credit program. The second paper described the recent history and current status of Jewish day schools in Massachusetts.

• Spearheaded a successful initiative to pass K-12 scholarship tax credit legislation in New Hampshire. • Responsible for research; policy formation; creating and delivering presentations to legislators and activists; working with legislators and activists to develop and promote legislation. • Published “Choosing to Learn: Scholarship Tax Credit Programs in the United States and Their Implications for New Hampshire.”

Represented approximately 40,000 constituents from two towns; Member of the Committee on Labor, Industrial and Rehabilitative Services. Sponsored/co-sponsored 13 bills. Five bills passed the House, two were signed into law. Instituted a weekly "legislative update" for constituents utilized by dozens of fellow legislators to inform and communicate with their constituents. Named "Legislator of the Year" by the bipartisan New Hampshire Liberty Alliance for "outstanding and consistent support for the cause of individual freedom."

Managed team of 25-30 workers opening largest retail furniture store in New Hampshire. Coordinated among several departments to ensure efficient operation.
