In the Fall of 2013, I co-led a student movement known as the Top Shelf. The mission of this movement was to bring a multipurpose sports and entertainment complex to the Bentley University campus. The primary objective of this movement was to give a home to the Division I Bentley Hockey Program. The Top Shelf movement eventually became the unofficial home to all things Bentley Hockey. On social media, Bentley fans knew they could rely on the Top Shelf for live in game reporting. On campus, Bentley students could depend on the Top Shelf for hockey promotions and petitions to bring hockey to Bentley's campus. At the games, The Top Shelf lead the student section in cheers and chants.As a direct result of our efforts the aforementioned multipurpose facility was approved by the board of trustees and construction was completed in the Spring of 2018. Finally, the efforts of the Top Shelf will be forever memorialized in this new Arena in the form of a plaque and the namesake of the student section.
