I am currently responsible for business services operational fulfillment teams in support of Charter's Internet, Cable & Telephone services; includes overseeing order processing fallout, local number portability, E911, provisioning and service activation activities, as well as multiple interfaces to 3rd-party and outsourced entities, both nationally and internationally.

Researching and planning new network builds. Assisting in sales meeting, and determining price of new builds. Overall project management.We also have our own in-house directional drilling crew. I am also the head man for the drilling crew. We place our own conduit in the ground and pull and splice our fiber.

Supervised installation of telecommunications systems. Consulted with engineering to verify set standards and specifications were met. Resolved installation problems. Trained employees in installations and quality check of systems. Inventory control and monitoring. Supervising contractors doing outside plant Engineering re-routes and new customer builds EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE Adtran multiplexers - Conklin shelves - Kentrox shelves - Lucent OC1, OC3, OC12, OC48, SLC96 and Series 5 - Titan 5500 - Facilities for DSX1, DSX3, 66 Blocks and 110's - Engineering; I am responsible for creating and updating as-built drawings of the network, engineering of new customer builds and re-routes of the network. Managing employee's and coordinating work schedules and purchasing for jobs, also handled all relationships with power companies, local phone companies, railroads, and private land owners for right way issues. I also sat in on sales meetings with potential new customers.

Managed direct employees as well as contractors, along with project management and cost budgeting for projects that we worked on. Coordinate with building owner for floor space, power grounding, and access to inside building wiring and inside conduct for cabling, as required.Engineer the fiber and copper cable network for the specific building, including all inside wiring design, and outside plant design. Coordinate with cable engineering and technical management on construction and service functions.Manage the outside contractors, including electrical contractors for power and grounding that perform the actual placing and splicing activities. This includes contractors' selection, supervision and quality control.Perform site surveys to provide pre-sale cost estimates for servicing a specific building.Coordinate with customer's technical personnel on all wiring and network interface issues.Resolve complaints and build an effective relationship with building managers.Ensures all equipment installations and cabling meet Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) standards; also ensures that site installations meet AT&T Network Validation Test (NVT) standards.Familiar with Fiber characterization test equipment such as CD, PMD, ORL, Power Meter and OTDR testing.OSP Fiber Optic construction experience.Familiar with SONET ring technologyAble to develop OSP splicing diagrams to add buildings to the existing network.
