Director Business Management - Federal & Strategic

Regional Customer Relations Manager - East Region
Because retaining customers is critical to the long-term stability and growth of Pitney Bowes' core business. With an 80% market share and a changing technical environment, new customers are difficult to find, making it imperative to preserve the existing customer base and the associated revenue stream. Additionally it cost 4 times more to acquire a new customer then to keep an existing customer.Our team developed a pro-active profiling program that identified "at risk" customers and created a contact strategy for all customer-facing organizations within Pitney Bowes. Part of the programs success was due to my ability to leverage the relationships I had at all levels of management, with the primary goal of identifying at risk customer and stabilizing endangered relationships through proactive programs. In this position I work closely with and coordinate the efforts of all internal organizations within Pitney Bowes. As a result of our program we were able to successfully reduce cancellations in excess of 60k customers in 2010, against a target of 50k. These reductions in cancellations have continued in 2011.
District Director - North Jersey
Planned key selling strategies to meet current and strategic requirements for Solutions segment growth. Executed selling strategies through education of national business needs to district management and account coverage to ensure skill level matched customer market. Managed strategies though financial data and scorecard reporting and adjusted strategies to ensure business objective were achieved. Worked with partners at L&P to develop training strategies to maximize product and market knowledge among sales teams to drive solutions product growth. As a result, in 2009 these key selling strategies and training produced a 36% Product Mix Ratio (PMR) while achieving solutions growth of 15.3%. Further we reduced or controllable terminations to 15% as a result of account contact strategies and coverage. Developed District sales structure, territory accountability and staffing levels (including specialist, generalist and sales support) to optimize performance while meeting company objective of reducing operating expenses. As a result of a more streamlined operation and expense review, a reduction of per rep operating expenses of 15% was realized. Plan and develop selling strategies and tactics with other business units including DMT, PBMS and Mail Services to maximize revenue/productivity from market potential.
District Sales Manager - New York City
Responsible for the management and coordination of Accounts, Territory and Specialized Sales resources. I was also responsible for insuring my assigned team obtained their assigned sold quota and revenue growth objectives.
