Unit 669 is a special forces, combat Search and Rescue unit within the Israeli Air Force. The purpose of the unit is to do whatever it takes to save a human life, irrespective of the time, location, or level of danger.In 2014, an elite team of ex-669 operatives collaborated to create a non-profit platform called the 'Cat Association'. This platform allows the highly skilled individuals from the 669 unit to utilize their unique skillsets, professions, and drive to create a significant social impact both locally and abroad. The Cat Associations mission is to support and empower veterans from the unit, whilst magnifying the positive impact of the projects within the non-profit.
