LearnByte's digital platform harnesses micro learning theory to allow employees to upskill their digital skills fast.As founder of the startup, over 2 years I developed the concept into a commercial model but was unable to successfully monetise the concept.

The role involved reopening a motorsport venue that had be closed for several years in the wheatbelt of WA. Part of that process was consulting with local councils, health department and various vendors. To open a full set of policies needed to be developed including health and safety procedures, OHS audit, event operations manual, traffic management plans etc. There were all created by myself inhouse with assistance from industry experts. Event night promotions included media releases, social media management, stakeholder and staff management on the night.

Registered training organisation providing training across the north west of WA. Specialising in Construction and Mining related fields including OHS safety training.The role involved developing the business concept, maintaining RTO registration and compliance, business sales development and conducting the training sessions.Major achievements during the operation included gaining contracts with numerous Job Network Agencies including Skill Hire, Employment Plus and many remote indigenous community centres. Particularly proud of working with remote indigenous communities to develop programs that assisted their members being able to improve their lives and gain employment.

Position involved managing the training operation of Wila Gutharra, supervising 3 other employees, allocating tasks and training to appropriate team members. Other jobs included helping train students under direct supervision from the assessor/ trainer, completing RTO paperwork and maintaining compliance. Obtaining my tickets in operation of the machines on our scope and also in white card. I have also professional developed my skills by obtaining Cert 4 in TAE and also various other tickets related to my life skills.

Assisting mine personnel in locating parts and products for use on site utilizing a mechanical aptitude and general awareness. Parts were found using a hard copy book or using the computers to locate parts through searches. Other jobs include checking in freight and putting stock away. General yard cleaning and daily pre-shift check was also done. Work also included moving excavators, loaders and skid steers around the yard. Training was provided in correct operation of machinery. Also conducted were intensive safety inductions in the workplace.
