I recently (a year ago) took a position as superintendent of construction building a college housing development. Long hours, attention to detail, and highr level management skills are required here and it has been an exciting adventure!When I was hired by the Navy to produce and characterize metallic molecular cluster fuels using a one of a kind tandem mass spectrometer I diagnosed the problem with the equipment and laid out a successful plan for its resolution. While employed there I collaborated with the High Energetics Research and Development (HERD) at Eglin Airforce base to produce core-shell particles and on the design of equipment interpretation of results to create anthrax defeat mechanisms. I have been critical in scheming and building equipment to analyze fuel cell membranes and test boron embedded jet fuel combustion dynamics. I am creative and proficient in exploring results and producing reports. It is my ability to think well outside the box, communicate on technical issues, collaborate in a team and work hard in isolation that has allowed me to be a strong asset in a large diversity of research objectives.In addition to my technical capabilities, I have thrived training scientist and managing construction crews. I build trust, communicate with respect and patience and am diligent about following up to ensure that each person is acting with competence.
