Served as Project Manager for the City of Austin Public Works Department on Water Treatment Plant 4 and Parmer Lane Interceptor projects. Water Treatment Plant 4 (WTP4) was a $523.5M multi-year/multi-discipline project involved the design and construction of a new 50 million gallon per day (MGD) water treatment facility and delivery system for the City of Austin. More specifically, the WTP4 project consisted of: a 300 MGD lake tap raw water intake in Lake Travis; a 300 MGD gravity raw water tunnel; a 50 MGD Raw Water Pump Station; a 150 MGD raw water transmission main; a 50 MGD lime softening water treatment plant with solids contact upflow clarifiers, dual media filters, and onsite generation of sodium hypochlorite; and a 120 MGD 6.5 mile finished water transmission main tunnel. The WTP4 project was constructed utilizing the Construction Manager at Risk delivery method and was substantially completed in December 2014.
