At MDC, I set, drove, and communicated aggressive business operations strategy and plans. While reporting to our Global CEO, my team led the company’s transformation, which resulted in record-breaking financial performance, a successful acquisition and merger, and the rebrand into Stagwell Global. I developed and led the Business Operations teams, including Technology, IT, Real Estate, and People Operations (HR and Talent). My role is responsible for P&L, business performance, and overall operational excellence, providing the backbone for global growth.

I oversaw Strategic Sourcing and Procurement for a $1.4B publicly traded parent company. I advised MDC’s then 55 affiliates in their client and customer operations, including allocation of resources, pricing, general RFP responses, and negotiation techniques. I set up centralized contracting in a highly decentralized environment, which allowed MDC to leverage its size with accurate data. By building a small team to manage partnerships, I delivered better relationships and value to MDC affiliates and their clients. During a period of uncertainty, I began centralizing processes within the highly decentralized legacy affiliates. Our team's success led to me directly reporting into the Global CEO as the company's interim Chief Operating Officer and our collaboration on an aggressive transformation into the future business model.

Publicis is one of the largest multinational marketing and communication company in the world. I was handpicked by Publicis for a Senior Manager position after their acquisition of LBi (now Digitas LBi & MRY). I performed the same job with LBi and other Publicis affiliates. I also handled operations and real estate for the public parent company to support centralization of their business operations. I worked heavily with newly acquired affiliates and their founders during their integration process into Publicis.

LBi was a fast-growing, full service independent marketing services agency. While I was there, the company grew from a $15M/yr. business to $100M+ in global revenue. After organic growth, acquisitions and various mergers, LBi was acquired by Publicis Groupe for $540M. I was the “everything operations” person leading all back office services and facilities. I managed all vendor relationships and maintained and approved expenses for all departmental budgets. As we grew, I supported all activities around mergers, including eventually integrating Agency Systems, Technology, Facility and Back Office Operations into Publicis Groupe, and integrating all subsequent mergers & acquisitions, including Mr. Youth (MRY) and many other affiliates.
