About Jason Cassidy

From Retail to Sales and Operations, my career has been action packed and each experience has left me stronger and more prepared to take on the next. Below are some of the lessons I have learned and would highlight as some of the most important throughout my career:1) I thoroughly enjoy developing a team to push the limits of their potential. Whether developing individuals or teams, it is extremely rewarding to see people surprise themselves with what they are capable of. 2) I live to solve complex problems and find opportunities for gains in efficiency. When I hear that something is "impossible", that's when my strengths activate. I believe that with enough grit and determination, blended with the proper resources and the right team, we can solve any problem. 3) I believe that the more pressure you take on, the more pressure you can handle. Taking on new challenges can be daunting at times however; day 30 is always simpler than day 1... The more time I spend in high pressure situations, the more I refine my reaction time, my ability to learn on the fly, & my gut instincts. 4) I’ve learned that Operations is about making things SIMPLE…It’s not about making things EASY. Big difference! 5) I’ve learned firsthand that when attempting to scale or grow, you need to be maniacal about developing your formula first. Once you are certain that you have the right formula, only then do you scale. If you have to delay the growth process until you are sure, any delay will save you more than you will lose by moving too quickly with a bad plan. As I look forward, my goals include expanding my knowledge of new trends that are emerging in the solar industry, networking with other industry leaders and learning from their successes and failures, creating growth opportunities for up & comers, and finding the right outlet to fulfill my entrepreneurial aspirations.
