Currently, I serve as the Deputy Director of the Division of Conservatorship Oversight and Readiness and the Chief Fintech Officer at the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), where I oversee the operations and performance of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the two largest government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs) in the country.In this role, I lead a team of 30 staff who work closely with the GSEs' executives and board of directors to reduce their systemic risk, enhance their financial well-being, and stabilize the housing market and the lenders that support it. I also maintain the confidence of investors in the Uniform Mortgage-Backed Securities (UMBS) program by ensuring consistency in prepayment levels between the GSEs. Additionally, I launched the FHFA Fintech Office, tasked with developing large-scale data and tech solutions that impact over 60% of the $12 trillion U.S. mortgage market. My mission is to embrace responsible innovation and foster the diversity and resiliency of the U.S. housing finance system.
