I am currently employed as a Data Engineer for agilon health. Using both my "jack of all trades, master of none" previous experience, I plan to expand my back-end development knowledge and skills to craft a data warehouse to interact with ETL tools.I was previously employed as the Application Programmer for the John A. Burns School of Medicine's Department of Quantitative Health Sciences. Originally hired as an entry-level web developer, I have redesigned my office's website from scratch using HTML, CSS, Javascipt, and JQuery. Since then, I have been exposed to web-based technologies such as ASP.NET Webforms and MVC through a C# backend, as well as SQL database querying and development, now maintaining our internal project tracking system. I also assist our clients utilizing biostatistical services in our department design and create projects on the REDCap electronic data capturing tool for their research needs. Graduating with a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in May 2015, I have a background in Human-Computer Interaction courses centered around making the computer experience better for users, serving as a Web Administrator for the Katipunan Club for one year as well as an intern for the Hawaii Computer-Human Interaction (HICHI) Lab for six months. Also graduating with a B.A. in Philippine Language and Literature (Filipino), it is a dream of mine to be able to properly create a much better, comprehensive version of Google Translate for people learning to speak Filipino (Tagalog). I hope to one day master the art of Front-end Web Development, while also eventually reaching out to Back-end Development and become a Software Developer as a career goal.
