After leaving school entered industry on modern day apprenticeship scheme, within the design office of a portal steel framed building company (FE Titmuss, Wellingbrough). This career then progressed in to a Technical Sales Support role for a passive fire protection organisation supporting overseas agents and licencees to the Asia Pacific and EMEA Sales regions, before being promoted to the Hydrocarbons Division, responsible for the sale of systems to the UK offshore petrochems industry.Following a downturn in the UK and Offshore construction industry in the Mid 90's I switched industries joining Kockum Sonics, a market leader, supplying marine ship load computers and navigation aids to the UK ship building and refurbishment industry, before entering the recruitment services sector in a Techical Sales capacity.
