Over twenty years of commercial and residential design experience at HKS. Work primarily comprises of speculative office buildings, corporate headquarters, high rise multi-family, commercial renovation upgrades, multi-use projects, parking garages, master planning, and retail.HKS has nurtured my philosophy into an expertise. Starting from the first visualization of a project’s concept, I channel design continuity through to the last phase of work, ultimately guiding a client to their vision. With HKS’s strong core values and technical prowness, the firm has impressed upon me to strive for design to not end at early stages but to carry a quality of design though out all aspects of the project.With respected industry mentors at my side, HKS has afforded me the opportunity to mature into a strong leader within project teams. With a strong team philosophy, I help lead the work from design concepts, project schedules, and client presentations, to value engineering, corrections and opportunities. Experiences at HKS have taught me when to lean on and delegate work to a team to ensure design integrity is delivered to a client on promised schedules.HKS’s size has allowed me many opportunities to aid co-workers in learning. I excel at everything from helping others comprehend innovative technologies such as SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, and PhotoShop, to the every day rules of mastering office planning and residential layouts.

A first stepping stone into professional experience, Kirkwood Rodell offered me opportunities within a small firm structure to gain experience in production drawing, design observation, and dabbling in firm marketing. A local leader and professors in CAD technologies, Kirkwood Rodell, offered me my first real world opportunities, and today one of my greatest strengths, 3D design/visualization.
