Jason is the Managing Principal of the Hassell Sydney Studio. He brings a variety of experience on large scale, city shaping developments right down to small street scape improvements. His passion for creating places for people is enhanced through his collaborative and enthusiastic approach to design.Based in the Sydney Studio, Jason has been working for Hassell for over 13 years, with a key focus on precinct strategies, public domain design and project delivery. Specialising in landscape architecture and built environments, his particular focus is on the how the design of the public realm can facilitate new opportunities for social activation within complex urban environments.Jason has been involved in multidisciplinary projects both in Australia and China, leading design teams to conceptualise and deliver the highest quality design. He has developed specialist skills in team leadership, project management and precinct strategies collaborating with clients and consultants on multiple levels to deliver cohesive design responses.His involvement in significant public realm projects throughout Australia include Darling Harbour Live, Green Square Library Plaza, Sydney Airport International Forecourt, Western Sydney Airport Metro and Harbourside at Darling Harbour.
