Jason has spent the last 20+ years working in network security and software development. He specializes in creating software for the high-performance analysis and auditing of network communications and infrastructures.Jason is currently the Co-Founder of Sensilla. This software platform provides unparalleled insight to how an enterprise network functions, where is it vulnerable, and allows for near real-time security alerting. Sensilla provides companies with the telemetry and analysis that is critical ( and traditionally missing ) for properly securing a network.He was a Co-founder of Great Bay Software which sells software focusing on network endpoint profiling. He is the original author of the Beacon Endpoint Profiler. This product categorizes and tracks all network attached assets of an enterprise network in near real-time. At its core, Beacon utilizes the AI technique of a Rule-based expert system that can determine not only the type of the endpoint but also make inferences about its role within the network. Prior to GBS, Jason was a core member of the NSW team that was acquired by Enterasys (now part of Extreme). While there he was the lead developer of the award-winning Dragon Network IDS.
