I have had the opportunity to work under some fantastic mentors through the years. I work daily on my personal growth and development as a leader and mentor to others. I truly enjoy helping others. I enjoy inspiring my staff to strive for profitable growth of our district. I oversee all functions including rental sales, retails sales, relocation services, general administration, inventory management, warehouse and delivery operations. One of the most rewarding tasks is coaching my inside and outside sales organization to drive profitable revenue. Some of my day to day objectives are as follows:• Directs the implementation of sound marketing, merchandising and sales plans, including showroom display, advertising, promotions, prospecting, and other outside sales activities. Monitors sales results to provide direction and input on sales efforts. Works with the Regional Sales Managers and Regional Vice Presidents – Sales and Operations to be certain that plans are coordinated.• Directs sales activities in the Clearance Center(s), including advertising, selection and pricing of goods for disposal.• Directs and leads the inventory management efforts of the District including implementing inventory controls, including protection of inventory, reordering of inventory to minimize out of stock situations, maximizing utilization of inventory and repair and maintenance of inventory.• Directs the processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination and execution. This includes strategic planning, resource allocation, manpower modeling, leadership techniques and production methods.
