As IT Manager my responsibilities include maintenance of the practices’ electronic medical records system (NextGen) and the supporting SQL database, network infrastructure, server and desktop computers. Authored test scripts and performed QA testing on all NextGen updates prior to updating the production environment. Provided end user support for all software related issues, authored training material and led training sessions for the staff. Worked closely with the doctors and clinical staff to understand their workflow and customize templates to best meet their needs. Use SQL to perform database backups/restores, monitor daily jobs and run queries. Recently implemented projects include transitioning practice to ICD-10 diagnostic codes, electronic prescription (SureScripts), bi-directional lab interfaces for Quest and LabCorp as well as a unidirectional radiology interface with MRI of Georgia. Customized workflows to allow all providers in the practice to successfully attest to MIPS. I have an extensive knowledge of Windows PC operating systems (Win10, Server 2012 and 2008) and I’m able to easily pick up and master new software systems.

Responsible for the development and maintenance of the national advertising departments' pre-press systems, including Promotion Manager, C3 Utilities and Macintosh desktop based systems. Acted as primary QA tester for all new software rolled out to the department and developed test scripts in Test Director. Work extensively with end users to determine their needs, and then author requirement documentation for outside software developers. Worked closely with the onsite IT department to develop online tools (C3 Utilities) that allow users to transfer pricing and SKU information from the Promotion Manager database to the IBM mainframe database. Executed SQL queries to pull report information for end users. Authored extensive end user documentation and Best Practices to support software upgrades and system rollouts. Conducted training sessions for groups of 8-15 users for new software packages and training for new associates. My advanced knowledge of both PC and Macintosh systems allows me to quickly troubleshoot issues on both platforms. Worked closely with outside software companies to upgrades existing systems and develop new software packages. Acted as the main point of contact for end users to request software updates and bug fixes. My ability to building strong relationships with end users enables me to assure that new and upgraded software meets all of their needs and expectations.

Worked closely with the marketing and engineering teams in the development of the templates and artwork for Georgia-Pacific's line of customer brand products (packaging, poly wraps and corrugate cases). Assured correct templates and specifications were provided and that graphics elements wrapped and fit properly on the product. Reviewed color key proofs from separators and assured that all necessary departments reviewed and gave final approval before releasing artwork to print. Maintained the library of templates used for a wide variety of products and implemented automated systems for managing the template library.

Managed production of product packaging and point of purchase collateral for all the Pennzoil-Quaker State appearance and chemical brands (Rain-X, Gumout, Fix-A-Flat and Slick 50). Worked with marketing managers in the creation of print and event graphics for national promotions that supported the efforts of the field sales people. Accepted project requests from internal clients, established timelines, production schedules and assigned projects. Maintained status reports for all projects in the job tracking system and presented updated reports to the department via weekly team meetings. Managed the inventory of warehoused collateral and ordered reprints and redesign artwork as needed. Acted as focal point and team lead for a high volume of projects, assured that all necessary departments reviewed and gave final approved before releasing artwork to print. Introduced refinements to the product packaging approval process through the use of electronic document routing. This new process shortened the time required to go to print and allowed more flexibility in scheduling projects.
