Responsible for common product provisioning, Identity & Access Management and a common policy platform.Responsible for development and operations of Cisco Security Cloud Control and Cisco Security Cloud Sign On.During the first phase of growth, under my leadership we expanded the organization from two US-based development teams to a total of six teams with two teams in the US and four teams in India. In the second phase of growth, faced with immense pressure to expedite delivery, I initiated a partnership with a consulting firm adding two Europe-based contractor teams on a temporary basis.Successfully built a solid platform for delivering unified product provisioning workflow across all Cisco Security SaaS products.

Responsible for SSO - the front-door to Cisco Secure X (now known as Cisco XDR). Responsible for Secure Services Exchange which provides the essential connective tissue between on-premise appliances and the cloud.The development organization experienced an attrition rate of 27% over the 2 years prior to my taking over the organization. Morale was low and the risk of critical knowledge loss risk was high. I worked with my leadership team to arrest attrition and restore capacity without any increase in budget. Within a year, we succeeded to steady the ship and de-risk the situation.

Continuation of the Lancope journey following the December 2015 $452.5 million Cisco acquisition. Continue to grow, develop and lead a multi-national distributed engineering organization to support sustained YoY business growth and expansion of the product capabilities.Highlights include:- Built a development operation from scratch in Prague- Led the product globalization effort boosting revenue in Chinese, Korean and Japanese markets- Led the modernization effort of the UI and core platform

Lancope, prior to its acquisition by Cisco was a leading provider of network visibility and security intelligence to help defend enterprises against advanced cyber threats. I played a major role in growing the Engineering organization 3x over a 2 year period. Increased the innovation surface area through the introduction of the quarterly hack-days program. Introduced an Engineering Internship program. Improved our Engineering hiring process incorporating rigorous technical screening and testing, and behavioral interview techniques.In 2015, Lancope was acquired by Cisco for $452.5 million.

As employee #7, I wore many hats in this early stage startup helping to lay a solid foundation for growth of the business eventually serving 30% of the Fortune 500. Responsible for all development and (AWS) cloud operations activities. Introduced processes (Scrum) and tools to drive towards the goal of predictable quality and schedule. I also personally contributed much of the early code to support automated extraction of energy billing data on behalf of our customers.In 2022, Urjanet was acquired by Arcadia providing a significant return to the early investors.

Brought the first on-premise tokenization product (nuBridges Protect Token Manager) to the marketplace reducing PCI compliance costs for customers in the retail space, and contributing significantly to nuBridges revenue stream in terms of software licenses, maintenance and professional services. I personally designed all aspects of the entire product and then subsequently led the development and delivery teams.Responsible for all development, architecture and quality assurance activities at nuBridges.Successfully implemented the transition to an agile process based on Scrum. Managed 19-strong team comprising of on-shore architects, developers and QA test engineers and off-shore developers.

Designed all major modules of the nuBridges Protect software suite including Token Manager, Key Manager and Database encryption.Managed team of architects and off-shore developers.

Promoted to the Enterprise Architecture team providing technical leadership and guidance for some of Delta’s largest IT systems including Kiosk, delta.com and employee portal. Major contributions include: spearheaded a heightened awareness campaign across all disciplines to ensure a smooth re-launch of delta.com; researched and provided key recommendations to improve the reliability and availability of Kiosk and delta.com.

Promoted to provide technical leadership and guidance across all delta.com development projects. Major contributions include: increased project delivery throughput by splitting monolithic units of deployment into smaller isolated web applications; pioneered the use of quality open source tools and components to reduce development costs; persuaded the business to re-invest in delta.com hardware and software infrastructure resulting in a multi-million dollar multi-year improvement program called “Pisa”. The benefits of this investment are still being enjoyed today as the improvements provided a sturdy platform capable of supporting the continued explosive growth of delta.com (ticket sales of over $1M/hour).
