My ability to identify how to help people and recognize what they are in need of began when I worked as an EMT on an ambulance for 3 years. During that time I encountered numerous people with tragic injuries and/or acute illnesses. I was thrust into many instances of the utter chaos that occurs in severe traffic accidents; car parts strewn across roadways; injured people screaming for help and some people not moving. There were also the medical calls of heart attacks, diabetic issues, seizures, shootings, and suicide attempts among many others. All of these situations helped me to learn to focus on the most immediate problems that were afflicting people and what needed to be done to care for them. It is crucial to not focus on the superficial or cosmetic. I use these same observation and quick thinking skills in business to identify what needs to be done and develop a plan of action. I know how to pinpoint what needs to be done from training or working with colleagues, creating business processes or assisting upset customers to defuse potentially volatile situations. I understand how to hire, train, and manage teams. I understand the management of customers' accounts within a CRM. Responsibly managed crews in field settings, production, and development.
