Stockbroker (2000)Analysing and trading Australian equities during the 'Tech Boom & Crash'.Business Development Manager, Equities (1999-2000)Recruited by the Managing Director, Mr. Lance Rosenberg, to assist him during the establishment of new business division Tricom Equities Ltd.The role involved considerable responsibility and great freedom to perform. Tasks involved preparing client documentation, recruiting and training staff, managing dealing operations, promoting the business to corporate clients, and attending events as the company's representative.The business broke even within eight weeks of launching, and within one year had grown from one person to twenty-five full time staff, and had underwritten four Initial Public Offerings (IPO's).Gained qualification with the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) to become Branch Manager, and oversaw set-up of several dealing desks within company offices with responsibility for compliance with ASX Rules.Futures Dealer, International Markets (1998-1999)Experience gained in trading Futures, Options and Foreign Exchange contracts in: international stock indices, currencies, and commodities.Experience with all Asian, European, North American market products in a 24-hour a day trading environment.Invited by Professor Peter Blood of Bond University to part-lecture and tutor a subject on Derivatives to undergraduate and masters degree students.
