CurrentPrimarily function as a Human Resources Business Partner serving small-business organizations, with locations in TX and CA.Human Resource services include the following:HR Strategy – Report directly to the organization’s president. Deliver the full scope of HR support to the organization. Consult with senior management on a broad range of HR issues and solutions.Professional Development – Provide professional career mentoring and support to mid-level managers and front-line supervisors. Recruiting and Staffing – Lead all recruiting efforts: create and post ads with digital platforms, interview and screen candidates, provide input to hiring managers and execute employee onboarding programs. Manage all aspects of employee relations. Performance Management – Facilitate employee performance appraisals and wage adjustments. Work with managers and supervisors to assess, determine and coordinate disciplinary action processes and terminations, as applicable. Employee Benefits and Payroll – Serve as liaison between employees and the benefits and payroll departments to effectively administer both functions.HR Communications – Create, write and edit job descriptions, employment policies and various internal communications.HR Compliance – Handle and/or facilitate investigations, workers compensation claims, extended-leave requests, short-term disability claims, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations and annual benefits open enrollment communications. Coordinate range of compliance efforts with risk management, benefits, payroll, HR specialists and legal counsel, when appropriate.American Aero Human Resources– Provide all of the above services in a comparable capacity to leadership at an aviation service company with the same ownership, a fixed-base operator (FBO).Human Resources Consulting– Consult with management on special topics (any of the above areas) at additional affiliated companies and external organizations, on request.
