PROFILE:I specialize in structural steel design. I have worked on a wide array of projects including but not limited to commercial, heavy industrial, and automotive. A large portion of my experience relates to steel connection design in both new and retro-fit projects.I have a diverse knowledge of several advanced structural analysis and design programs. I also have a strong ability to solve difficult problems either through a group effort or working by myself. And through my past experience I have learned that solutions that work on paper do not always work in the field. As an engineer I feel it is my responsibility to ensure that my designs are not only cost effective but also that they are able to be constructed in the field.I believe that the structural engineering profession is more than just science and math. While we use these topics throughout our careers, we must remember that our actions can have unforeseen consequences.
