I am an Enrolled Agent and a Licensed Public Accountant in Iowa. I have had my practice since 2009 and now serve over 200 clients ranging from basic 1040s to all types of business returns. I enjoy helping clients solve problems. I also am a presenter of numerous CPE webinars. I present for accountants/tax pros, as well as industry groups, HR professionals, office managers, etc. I pride myself on making each presentation a little different from the last presentation, even if I am presenting on the same topic. I am also always incorporating new material, and researching new subjects to present on. My professional background includes 15 years in private practice, plus another 4 years working for a third-party administrator of retirement plans.I previously worked as a news director at a radio station, and I keep a toe in that industry even now, doing part-time anchor work for Radio Iowa and the Minnesota News Network.As an entrepreneur, I understand the challenges my clients face. I find it gratifying to deliver them the peace of mind of knowing their accounting is in order – and to save them time so they can focus on running the other important aspects of their companies.On a personal note, I was born and raised in Harlan, Iowa, and have a degree in corporate communications and certificate in accounting from Simpson College in Indianola.
