In this role, I served as the speechwriter, executive communications manager, and strategic advisor to the President of Kent State University and other senior staff members. This includes preparing and coaching the President as well as providing support--such as researching the event space, and testing multimedia presentations--at the event venue. Worked collaboratively with university institutions, programs, and business partners to coordinate communications and projects.

Huntsville, Alabama Area

Senior speechwriter and executive communications specialist for the Director and executive leadership team of NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center; served as the voice of the Center Director across all platforms. In this role, I also provided strategic guidance regarding Center-wide communications and messaging for both internal and external audiences. Directly supported executive at conferences, press events and other engagements, including preparation and outreach.

In this role, I developed speeches, presentations, and other executive communication products for the Assistant Secretary and other senior officials, including the Director of the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
