Engineering Manager

Lead Packaging Engineer
Acted as the lead mechanical engineer and was the primary interface between Echogen our contract engineers and fabricators. Interfaced with suppliers to verify complete packages were available for engineering and fabrication. Worked across multiple disciplines in Echogen, and our engineering firm to provide management of mechanical, civil, and electrical integration during the detailed design and fabrication of the heat engine. Managed the fabrication to meet delivery times, budget, and ensure drawings and documentation were complete for hand at the conclusion of fabrication.
System Engineer
Responsible for the design and specification of fluid, electrical, control, and instrumentation components in an optimized waste heat engine. Was an integral member of the design team for a 250 kW commercial prototype waste heat engine. Primary point for fluid management system, system pump, valves, and piping. Played a critical role in a contract manufacturing environment. Implemented calibration procedures for metrology to bring into ISO 9001compliance. Designed machine fixtures and generated code for CNC machining operations, as well as quoted and scheduled shop activity. Also acted as ISO internal auditor, and was an integral part of the ISO implementation.
