SEAI’s Development business unit supports future organisational needs in areas of new programme and business processes development, organisational development, quality development, development and management of SEAI’s IT business information systems and IT infrastructure, energy management development and Health & Safety.Responsibilities:• Leading and managing the implementation of Energy management system standard ISO 50001 in SEAI - I co-ordinated the successful re-certification of SEAI offices (Dublin, Dundalk, Sligo and Cork) and company vehicles to ISO 50001:2011 in June 2019 and I am now managing the transition to ISO 50001:2018 in summer 2020.• Development of functional scheme for certification of EXEED (Excellence in Energy Efficiency Design) assets – achievements include commencement of certifications, training of over ten auditors across two certification bodies and completion of EXEED requirements documents. Led and coordinated design of EXEED certified plaque and certificate awarded to successful EXEED assets.• Evaluating project proposals submitted to the EXEED grant scheme - technical & financial evaluations• Liaison with participating certification bodies in their development to provide EXEED certification services• Liaising with externally appointed EED mentors on technical aspects of EXEED Certified implementation and market needs for upskilling and uptake of EXEED• Developing EXEED body of knowledge and standardising into SEAI advice and mentoring support for business and public sector programmes• Point of contact internally and externally for specific and general queries from stakeholders and interested parties• EXEED Certified Program website development • SEAI representation at conferences, seminars and meetings relating to EXEED Certified Program and other SEAI programmes as requested• Development of service level agreements with business process outsourcing team to ensure highest level of operational support

SEAI’s Energy Demand Management (EDM) team develop and administer programmes and support mechanisms to assist businesses (Public and Private sector) and the general public to generate financial and energy-related savingsResponsibilities:• Leading operations team for implementation of Energy management standard ISO 50001 in SEAI offices• Co-ordination and management of update to Building Energy Managers Resource Guide• Energy consumption analysis for SEAI’s annual reporting obligations• Managing/hosting SEAI events • Presenting on behalf of SEAI at workshops and briefing sessions• Co-ordinating procurement & installation of an Energy metering system for SEAI - i.e. hardware & software platform to help SEAI monitor and manage energy performance at four SEAI offices.• SEAI representative on Envirocom Awards judging panel• Testing and reviewing SEAI’s web-based tools and identifying opportunities for improvement
