I’m an IT System Operations Analyst with over 19 years of experience working with Energy Management Systems (EMS). My day-to-day tasks consisted of supporting System Operators in a 7x24 capacity that utilized the EMS. My skills ranged anywhere from trouble-shooting RTU communications, to answering why an alarm on a client’s screen was a specific color.A key highlight from my career is building, validating, and testing new servers successfully in support of the NERC CIP project in collaboration with IT security, network operations, and each external utility in validating each ICCP connection. My analytical thinking and teamwork mindset are key strengths of mine that contribute to the success of completing projects by deadlines.Colleagues know me as a skilled problem-solver and go-to person when there are operational issues. With this mindset, I have always placed the impact to my clients/customers above any other work that needed to be completed. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others.
