Hi, everyone! I'm Jason, and I am lucky to have discovered the perfect career for my skills and interests: instructional design and organizational development. I've been in higher education ID roles for over 10 years, and am currently in a leadership position with the University of Colorado System. I pursue my work as a leader through authenticity, collaboration, and caring, and believe that work is always better when we put relationships first. Thanks for connecting and for visiting my profile!Dr. Jason Drysdale is the Senior Director of Instructional Design and Program Development at the University of Colorado System’s Office of Digital Education. Dr. Drysdale has spent the majority of his career as an educator, including 10 years in higher education as an instructional designer, technologist, teacher, and researcher. He has designed over 400 courses in a wide range of disciplines and levels and has led the design and development of over 40 academic degrees and specializations. He is a recent graduate of the Online Learning Consortium’s Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning (IELOL) and was recognized by the same organization with the 2020 Excellence in Faculty Development for Online Teaching award. Dr. Drysdale is an advocate for intentional design and authentic, collaborative leadership, and is a believer in the magic that happens when you trust and care for your students and colleagues. Dr. Drysdale earned his doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership from Abilene Christian University and his Master’s of Information and Learning Technologies from The University of Colorado Denver. Jason's research interests include online learning leadership, instructional design, and organizational structure.

We explore technology integration through the SAMR model and ethical analysis of technology tools.
