As a Development Manager I helped to define industrial market trends and implement investment strategies to adjust to market conditions. I was responsible for identifying and acquiring land for industrial development and re-development projects. I was able to build relationships with key industry individuals to ensure opportunities are regularly available to the company. I coordinated a team of engineers, railroad personnel, and transportation authorities to design and manage the development of rail-served industrial parks, transload facilities, auto centers, and intermodal facilities.
