    During my time as a chalet host in Austria myself and one other managed a chalet of up to 20 people for the duration of the 2014/15 winter season. Part of my responsibilities were to cook, clean and provide valuable resort information to guests. We would work 6-day weeks with 1 day off, with 1 day per week allocated to a changeover of guests. A typical day in the chalet would consist of serving early breakfast so guests are fed prior to the resort lifts opening. Followed by afternoon tea (prepared in the morning) and a 3-course meal, not including canapes and aperitifs.Towards the end of my stay in St Anton I suffered an injury which prevented me from completing my kitchen duties, instead I was asked to take over the resort accounting for the remainder of the season.
