About Jason Ackley
I currently lead design for Morningstar Sustainalytics, a division of Morningstar delivering environmental, social and governance (ESG) research, ratings and data solutions. I’m also an adjunct instructor teaching typography at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Design.I received my BFA in Visual Communication from the University of Illinois Chicago. I also had the great fortune of studying typography with Wolfgang Weingart at The Basel School of Design through their summer workshop program. I also completed The Yale School of Management's Business Perspectives for Creative Leaders program sponsored by the AIGA.My work has received recognition by the AIGA and the Society of Typographic Arts, including entry into the permanent Chicago Design Archive.
