Started in the pre-internet days working for Computer Associates. First as a technical support engineer then as a QA engineer. My last year there I moved into development and was tasked with porting CA SuperProject from Windows to Unix.Vantive was my next tenure before they went IPO. I worked with great people there, porting their help desk application software from Unix to Unix. As time moved on and Java showed promise I worked on a small team which produced a web enabled version of the Vantive Help Desk software. My next major move was to CyberSource where I worked in a small team to move their E-Commerce platform from Perl to Java. This major application server now takes over two million transactions per day. I now am an senior software engineer for CyberSource which was acquired by Visa in 2010.
