Don’t say it can’t be done.Just make it happen…With over thirty-five years of experience that includes being an entrepreneur, researcher, inventor, technologist, equities and cryptocurrency investor, educator, military member, writer, and speaker.My current startup is a biotech in stealth mode. The pre-seed closed and we are off to the races. The seed should open when we start to scale to revenues. Hope to not raise an A and make the growth in revenues. More soon.My last effort focused upon providing an open science ecosystem to STEM+arts+humanities (STEAHM) students and researchers, particularly the economically challenged, around the world. A major feature was enabling them to gain Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) and cryptocurrency awards for their content and collaborative efforts.—-some other past endeavors—-My career began in the US Army. Later, after the US Army sponsored my higher education, I managed a military medical facility, then a research laboratory. At the end of my US Army career, I was selected for the 5-year long Department of Defense"Troops to Teachers" program teaching sciences.After my award-winning teaching commitment, I became an entrepreneur and launched a number of startups, including an exit to a publicly traded company.I speak frequently around the world about the role of blockchain and its impact on managing IP, open science, scientific open access publishing, and entrepreneurialism.My patents include synthetic biology, securing identity and digital rights management and I have patents pending in blockchain-enabled technologies.Due to my entrepreneurial passion, I dropped out of a PhD program after completing all coursework in order to launch my first startup. Also developed a genetics rights management (GeRM) system.
