Jason lives to create and manipulate images, telling stories that excite viewers. By weaving together his knowledge of music, art, composition, and creative writing, Jason’s goal is to provoke an emotional response with any project that falls under his fingertips.After working for Emmy-winning director Michael Spiller for six years on The Mindy Project, Jason shifted his focus to editing. He became the contractual video editor for IngleDodd Media and Honeysweet Productions, helping produce online, ceremonial, and award show content for various Hollywood guilds. He was honored to work on high-profile panels at Comic Con (2017-2019), including editing work for the sold-out "Black Panther" panel in 2018. He also edited numerous videos for the Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards (2018-2020), including the opening montages and a career reel for Sir Patrick Stewart which he called “the best video of my career.”In addition, Jason’s editing business produces content for various Hollywood artists. He designed the sizzle reel for Academy Award-winner Ruth Carter. He also produced a FYC campaign for Ellen Mirojnick and her work on "Maleficent: Mistress of Evil," which went on to win a Costume Designers Guild Award. In 2016, Jason directed and edited a commercial featuring Rainn Wilson ("The Office").As an award-winning filmmaker, Jason Eberly has directed and produced a feature film and over a dozen narrative short films. Six of these films have appeared in over thirty international festivals, winning various awards and receiving good press. The 50-minute feature film, created as a college junior, screened at an independent theater for over two months. Jason also received private funding for development and produced content internationally in Israel and China.As an entertainment industry employee, Jason worked an as executive assistant for an Emmy-winning director/producer on a hit TV show that spanned 100 episodes of production. He got his start as an intern for ICM Partners (then ICM Talent), receiving subsequent jobs in the mail room and then as an assistant to a literary agent for two years.
