I was responsible for evaluation of resources in place for the Niobrara and Mancos B sections under Caerus leases & within the Piceance Basin. I contributed to a plan of development for in place resources and provide operational support for a future Niobrara drilling program, including petrophysical interpretation, core description and integration, sequence stratigraphy, depositional mapping, structural evaluation, geochemical interpretation, integration of drilling & field data, seismic interpretation, building synthetics to tie wells to seismic, seismic & well permitting and drilling operations.I also screened business development opportunities within the greater Rocky Mountain area, and provide recommendations on farm-in opportunities and federal lease bid rounds.Additionally, I assisted with operations of Williams Fork dry gas drilling programs, including well site mudlogging and wireline logging & interpretation. I have also mapped marginal marine Cozzette/Corcoran sandstones, calculated OGIP and EUR volumes from core-calibrated petrophysical models, and made recommendations for completion strategies in those intervals. I performed high resolution structural mapping to identify faults that contributed to variations in production trends in recent Williams Fork producers and identified potential mitigation strategies.

Senior Geoscientist & Log Analyst, Neuquen Basin, Argentina:I was the lead geologist for an unconventional drilling program in the Vaca Muerta, Los Molles and Agrio shales within the Neuquen basin of Argentina. I worked with geophysicists and reservoir engineers to implement a development plan with infill drilling and workovers on a recent gas and oil discoveries in the conventional sandstones of the Centenario & Sierras Blancas formations. My work included petrophysical and stratigraphic interpretations, core and thin section petrography, reservoir quality analysis, hydrocarbon systems screening and planning and executing drilling operations.Kazakhstan Project Manager:I also served as the project manager for Kazakhstan exploration programs, including regional exploration and farm-in evaluations. I was responsible for coordinating personnel, creating and maintaining project plans and timelines, and generating key summary documents for senior management. I was also the subject matter expert on carbonate stratigraphy and reservoir quality in this area.

Geoscience Lead for Producing Assets:I was responsible for all geoscience duties for two tight gas Wasatch/MesaVerde assets: White River Dome in the Piceance Basin, and Natural Buttes in the Uinta basin, including a multi-rig drilling program, workover proposals, economic asset development, and mentoring others. Operations Geologist for 2015 Drilling Campaigns:I developed economic drilling, logging and coring programs for clastic (Big Horn), carbonate (Williston) and mixed (Permian) reservoirs. Senior Exploration Geologist:I completed exploratory mapping of many different US Onshore basins. Studies combined stratigraphy, reservoir quality, petrophysics, structural mapping, and analysis of offset production to create production type curves. Delivered recommendations to management on asset acquisitions and open acreage positions. Study basins include Uinta, Piceance, Williston, Denver-Julesberg, Permian, Maverick, & Anadarko.

I served as lead geologist for supergiant Tengiz oilfield in Kazakhstan and Operations/Regional geologist for deepwater Brazil ‘Presalt’ acreage.Brazil ‘Presalt’ Exploration:I performed stratigraphic studies of Cretaceous “Presalt” lacustrine reservoirs to improve prediction of reservoir presence and quality, delineate source rock potential, and evaluate seal capacity. I also assisted with prospect evaluation and farm-in opportunities in several different basins. I also worked on exploration team that drilled an exploratory well and personally coordinated the coring and logging program and completed post-drill analyses to improve reservoir quality characterization and prediction. In addition, I evaluated well and seismic data to identify previously unknown reservoir compartmentalization.Production geologist for Tengiz oil field, Kazakhstan:I completed a reservoir quality study of Devonian-Carboniferous carbonates in this oil field using core, well logs, well tests, pressure trends and 3D seismic data to identify undrilled potential in deeper strata. I also monitored a sour gas injection pilot program and used the results from dynamic well data to better understand reservoir connectivity and sweep efficiency. I integrated petrographic, petrophysical and dynamic well data to update 3D geologic models and identified infill well locations for development plan and forecasted production rates for future wells. Finally, I created an improve risked characterization of remaining reserves, updated volumetric assessments of in-place and recoverable oil and coordinated reserve bookings.

I was responsible for stratigraphic and depositional mapping in Western Canada, global exploration of carbonate platform fields, and teaching for internal field schools. Duties include: I mapped the Western Canadian basin to update depositional maps and identify additional exploration targets in nearby acreage and infill drilling targets in fluvial, estuarine and marine clastics of Jurassic to Cretaceous Parkland Play.I performed a global study to identify the ideal tectonic and structural settings for development of large isolated carbonate platforms, resulting in acreage acquisitions and associated exploratory drilling programs offshore Brazil & Ireland.I taught stratigraphy, sedimentology, and reservoir quality of carbonate and deepwater clastic systems in classroom and outcrop settings.

I performed exploration and production geoscience in West Texas, deepwater Gulf of Mexico, and the PriCaspian basin of Kazakhstan. Duties included: I completed structural mapping in Woodbine sands of Hawkins field that identified untapped potential in isolated fault blocks. Subsequent drilling resulted in these fault blocks resulted in production wells with high production rates.I performed a biostratigraphic/stratigraphic evaluation of deepwater clastic turbidites in GOM. The updated stratigraphic correlations revealed previously unmapped reservoir discontinuities and additional exploration potential in deeper strata.I completed a seismic mapping project of subsalt carbonate reservoirs in PriCaspian basin. I identified several previously unmapped structural closures and updated depositional environment maps and provided recommendations to management on where to acquire the best quality acreage for this play.
