I was responsible for evaluation of resources in place for the Niobrara and Mancos B sections under Caerus leases & within the Piceance Basin. I contributed to a plan of development for in place resources and provide operational support for a future Niobrara drilling program, including petrophysical interpretation, core description and integration, sequence stratigraphy, depositional mapping, structural evaluation, geochemical interpretation, integration of drilling & field data, seismic interpretation, building synthetics to tie wells to seismic, seismic & well permitting and drilling operations.I also screened business development opportunities within the greater Rocky Mountain area, and provide recommendations on farm-in opportunities and federal lease bid rounds.Additionally, I assisted with operations of Williams Fork dry gas drilling programs, including well site mudlogging and wireline logging & interpretation. I have also mapped marginal marine Cozzette/Corcoran sandstones, calculated OGIP and EUR volumes from core-calibrated petrophysical models, and made recommendations for completion strategies in those intervals. I performed high resolution structural mapping to identify faults that contributed to variations in production trends in recent Williams Fork producers and identified potential mitigation strategies.

In addition, I evaluated well and seismic data to identify previously unknown reservoir compartmentalization.Production geologist for Tengiz oil field, Kazakhstan:I completed a reservoir quality study of Devonian-Carboniferous carbonates in this oil field using core, well logs, well tests, pressure trends and 3D seismic data to identify undrilled potential in deeper strata. I also monitored a sour gas injection pilot program and used the results from dynamic well data to better understand reservoir connectivity and sweep efficiency. I integrated petrographic, petrophysical and dynamic well data to update 3D geologic models and identified infill well locations for development plan and forecasted production rates for future wells. Finally, I created an improve risked characterization of remaining reserves, updated volumetric assessments of in-place and recoverable oil and coordinated reserve bookings.

I was responsible for stratigraphic and depositional mapping in Western Canada, global exploration of carbonate platform fields, and teaching for internal field schools.
