Australia Pacific LNG awarded Leighton Contractors two major multi-million dollar contracts to build key gas and water infrastructure as part of the project’s first phase of coal seam gas (CSG) development. The $450 million gas-gathering contract involves more than 1,200km of poly welded pipeline, 1,700km of fibre optic and power cabling, and wellhead equipment installed across the Condabri gas field developments, south of Miles and further Talinga development near Chinchilla.Range of core duties include:• Mechanical installation of Well Head Facilities, including Pipe Fitting, flange management and pneumatic testing of pipelines and separator units.• Flange management, complete FIC’s• Interpret plans and apply engineering specifications to related mechanical fittings to be installed. • Work to high standards of safety and following detailed and specific OHS procedures• Operation of plant and machinery through various lift methods including including Telehandlers,Cranes and excavators. • Dogging and Rigging of various loads in accordance with safe work practices, including completion of relevant risk assessments and lift plans
