The Application Competency Center (ACC) is a newly formed team that facilitates the development, implementation and adoption of technology standards by providing governance and proactive oversight of all enterprise applications’ operational activities. These include patch management, vulnerability remediation and Lifecycle Management to support the safety and soundness of the systems that enable Wells Fargo lines of business to help customers succeed financially.• Govern and report on policy exceptions while assisting in vulnerability remediation efforts for all ACC aligned products.• Identify new applications in scope for our patch-tracking tool, AMP.• Provide training and assistance/follow-up with application managers/proxy users to complete patching requirements.• Perform governance and reporting on patches that fall into AMP backlog/no activity report.• Develop and manage macros in VBA to save time and increase efficiency in the ACC reporting process and daily tasks.• Create and maintain relationships with other Competency Centers as related to patches and vulnerabilities.• Assist in training on Governance & Reporting safety and soundness, operational standards, protocols and procedures.• Create weekly reports to identify newly deployed applications in Remedy.

Clients / apps have included Clash of Clans, Candy Crush, Amazon, Mobile Strike, et al.

Lead Consultants provides direct support to students and faculty with computer-related questions about computer software and hardware. They act as the liaison between Consultants and Supervisors. Leads are responsible for the proper operation of all labs and machines across campus, operations within HuskyTech, and manage consultants to ensure proper lab function. The number one priority of Lead Consultants is customer service. As Level 2 (L2) troubleshooters, if we are unable to solve customer issues, we assist users with finding the proper resources and/or creating tickets for machines using RightNow Technologies Software. Lead Consultants also provide training to consultants as well as one on one mentoring of consultants to ensure proper technical knowledge.
