Jason Flax Architect LLC is a small architecture firm with a focus on residential project types. We offer services including home builder drafting, residential architectural design, and design consulting. Project types we specialize in are Luxury Exterior Spaces, Exterior Decks, and Residential project types. We are licensed to practice in PA, NJ.

Project Architect for the Low Density studio team. I was responsible for coordinating work between the owner, consultants, and JDavis team.

• Assisted project architects documenting several interior renovations for medical clients in the Philadelphia area.• Field surveyed and documented a large office interior renovation. Created DDs and CDs under the supervision of the Managing Partner.• Assisted a project architect with Revit modeling project for multi-family residential project in the Philadelphia area.• Created aerial renderings and marketing material for large manufacturing and distribution warehouses for developer clients.

• Managed and documented a 135-unit, low-rise multi-family project in NJ consisting of townhomes, flats, and a clubhouse. Surveyed and documented DD through CDs. Preformed CA, site observations, preparation of field reports, coordination with engineers, and management of intern staff. All duties were under supervision of the Managing Partner.• Documented a single-family new construction residential prototype for the managing partner using REVIT.

• Documented historic renovations and new construction single-family residential designs by Peter Zimmerman. Duties included construction documentation, detailed interior elevations, coordination with engineering professionals, meetings with managing Project Architect and Peter Zimmerman.

• Assisted with documenting numerous commercial interior renovations for large corporate clients in the insurance and finance sector. Project work included space planning for satellite corporate offices, tenant improvements, material selection per client branding guidelines, site observations, limited construction administration, and complete architectural documentation while assisting the project manager.

• Documented permit sets for the single-family residential division. Modified established construction documents, developed elevations, updated and maintained construction master sets, coordinated with engineering and/or field managers within set delivery timelines.

• Moore College of Art & Design educates students for careers in the visual arts, located in Center City Philadelphia. My duties at Moore College include assisting with a graduate Interior Design studio as a guest design review critic. I participate on many occasions throughout each semester, and assist the professor to provide design advice for students.

• Documented designs by Peter Marino with oversight of managing Project Manager. Drafted high-end interior elevations, job site travel, and construction documentation of projects throughout the world.• Other project work included creation of floor plan and elevation rendering studies in Photoshop, assembling presentation graphics for client presentations and review by Peter Marino.

• Drafted and assembled construction documents and design development for residential projects in Philadelphia.• Acted as assistant construction administrator for a multi-unit public housing project in Philadelphia for the Phila. Housing Authority.

Project assistant to principal architect and senior staff of a local architecture company in the Manayunk area.My responsibilities included; assisting senior staff in construction document production, field visits to construction sites, and permit related errands.

Project assistant with major lighting design firm in Philadelphia. My responsibilities included assisting project designers with construction documentation, Photoshop rendering of lighting designs for client presentations, and physical lighting mock ups of samples from manufacturers.

Internship with general contractor of light residential construction projects. My duties included assisting lead carpenters installing interior & exterior finishes, roofing, masonry, and painting projects in the Baltimore,MD / Lancaster,PA metropolitan areas.
