• Assigned to Schering Plough Pharmaceuticals in Summit, NJ. • Responsible for automating Schering Plough’s build process for a 6000 seat deployment.• Wrote a tool that queries group membership of legacy machine objects in Active Directory and outputs that information to an answer file. This answer file was then used by a Schering proprietary app to add new machine objects to AD with the proper group membership of their legacy counterpart. • Engineered the entire deployment process using WinPE v2.0, Dell Data Direct (similar to USMT), & MS WIM technology.• Wrote a utility that wipes & updates the USB deployment hard drives with deployment utilities. • Wrote a tool that would verify machine existence in Active Directory using LDAP queries. It would log any machine that did not exist in AD so that those machine objects could be brought back to the client for verification.• Oversaw pilot deployments and reengineered certain parts of the process based on the results of those pilots.• Automated the entire deployment using AutoIt. This includes multiple “phases”• Each phase had its own unique purpose. Most of the phases were launching different RADIA (their software management system) connects to drop packages. • One phase restored user data and settings.• Had to plan for errors in the RADIA packages. This included planning for error window pop-ups and automating the way they were handled. (e.g closed, moved, etc.)• Wrote a front end GUI to collect user data so that the process would be zero-touch.

• Responsible for updates and deployment of UBS’s Wealth Management US Windows XP image. This included the documenting and testing of Microsoft’s monthly patches, updating of Office 2003 to SP2, and troubleshooting any open issues the branches may be suffering from.• Worked with cutting edge hardware to devise end-of-life/hardware refresh schedules with the business.• Wrote an image update utility to update all images on external USB drives. These drives were used in branch deployments throughout the country. • Performed benchmarks on laptops and desktops to get a baseline for native and virtualized performance using WinBench. Benchmarked both VMWare Workstation performance and MS Virtual PC 2004 performance.• Wrote a DoD wipe process and customized Windows XP image for end-of-life machines that were purchased by employees. I eventually modified this DoD wipe process to extend to end-of-life Dell Poweredge servers in the branches.• Worked with release candidate and RTM versions of Microsoft Windows Vista for a projected SP1 internal release schedule. Was able to work with the WAIK and BDD to successfully create unattended Vista installations. • Lead engineer on Financial Advisor Secure Laptop initiative. Responsibilities include:• Creating an image that was restorable from a service partition.• Employing full disk encryption using SafeGuard Easy.• Devising methods to push updates to the laptop in a non-UBS environment.• Working with local Group Policy to enforce settings for users that would never be connecting to the UBS network or have an Active Directory account.• Lead Engineer on IT Infrastructure Desktop Image deployment. Responsibilities include engineering of ITI image to work in our current Wealth Management environment. Responsibilities included: • Modifying existing image to include specific settings for Wealth Management domain.• Working with GPO’s to modify image settings native to the WMUS environment.

Lead engineer - hardware/break fix support for a very high level, remote user group of 170 users at Pfizer in Morris Plains, NJ. • Imaging of laptops & desktops. • Created custom Windows 2000 and Windows XP images for various models from IBM and Dell. These were custom tailored per group supported.• As Lead Engineer on the RMRS Install Project I was responsible for the following tasks.• Client communication of software packages I was creating.• Traveling to various locations around the United States in order to roll out multiple software packages, images, and configurations.• Maintaining positive client relationships through proactive communications regarding stages of development.• Working one on one with remote users when traveling.• Documenting the entire image and configuration process for this project.• Testing of software packages made by myself and others to ensure compatibility with Pfizer Common Desktop Environment.• Repackaging proprietary Pfizer software for ease of installation. • Scripting the entire rollout process from start to finish.
