I am a Product Director with National Geographic Learning/Cengage, a leading global education company in the K12 and higher education markets. In this role, I lead a team in developing digital and print solutions for Career and Technical Education and Advanced Placement and electives in the Secondary market. I previously led teams in the Qualitative Business (Marketing, Management, Introduction to Business, Business Communication), Quantitative Business (Economics, Accounting, Finance, Decision Science, and Tax) and World Language (Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese) disciplines. In an ever-changing industry, it is fun to reinvent products and processes, figuring it out as we go through each iteration. I am passionate about developing innovative digital products focused on a modern user experience and solving customer problems. I enjoy the creativity required to research customer needs, ideate solutions, and translate those ideas into product requirements. Working in an agile environment, it is both a challenge and a pleasure to manage products through the entire development process, from conception to delivery. I have a BA in Education and a BA in German from Purdue University. I spent a year studying abroad in Hamburg, Germany, where I had the good fortune to travel extensively. Being bilingual is a definite plus when traveling throughout Europe!
