- Served as the Lead Network Administrator for an asset tracking software package during the MC252 Oil Spill Cleanup Effort. Part of my job requirements was to support mobile users who used hand-held scanners, which connected though the base WiFi network, who then was able to sync their information with a Microsoft SQL Database in real time.- Planned, ordered, installed and upgraded the server system that was in-place to a more robust system using Microsoft Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2008 R2. This allowed for dramatic decrease in the time it took the mobile scanners to download their information into the system and allowed for timelier and more accurate reports to be generated in regard to all of the assets deployed on the site. Directs the team responsible for Incident and Problem Management. Participates in emergency preparedness planning and response activities for all in-scope agencies statewide such as coordinating the delivery, setup, support and take-down of temporary networks, workstations and other devices in shelters and evacuation sites
