Jason Grill began his formal secondary education at Saint Louis University, where he graduated with his Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Business Administration with an emphasis on Economics and a Minor in Political Science. Jason graduated Summa Cum Laude from Saint Louis University with an overall GPA of 3.83. Jason’s next stop was the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) with an advanced degree in Dispute Resolution while becoming a finalist in First-Year Mock Trial Competition and making the Dean’s List for the spring 2003, fall 2003, and spring 2004 terms. Presently, Grill is a Representative of District 32 in the Missouri House of Representatives. Jason’s district is located in Southern Platte County, and he represents over 35,000 people from the cities of Parkville, Riverside, Lake Waukomis, Platte Woods, Ferrelview, Houston Lake, and Kansas City, Missouri. Elected in November 2006 with 60.1 percent of the vote, Jason Grill is the second youngest legislator in the state of Missouri (youngest in Kansas City area). Notably, Jason Grill is the only freshman member of the minority party to sponsor and pass a bill in the Missouri House during the 2007 legislative session, as well as the only freshman member of the minority party to handle and pass a senate bill during the 2007 legislative session. Throughout his career as a lawyer and elected public official, Grill has consistently been praised for his work. As recently as September 2008 he was voted Kansas City’s “Best Local Politician” and featured in KC Magazine. In July of 2008, Jason Grill was recognized at 1 of 40 "Up and Coming Lawyers" In Missouri by Missouri Lawyers Weekly. Jason Grill is not afraid to get out of the office once in a while, either. He is an Eagle Scout and Warrior in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say, as well as a Kansas City Star Scholar Athlete. When not legislating or taking in the great outdoors, Jason enjoys spending time with his family.
